I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. I had to leave my in-laws early to come home and make more bags. This is a good 'problem' to have, not leaving the in-laws but having to make more bags. This is sort of like Dunkin' Donuts.........."time to make the donuts".......except insert bags for me.

What do you think of the Butterfly? It is my newest applique. The bag has a pocket on the front. I really like it. Comments are always welcome.

If only I could work faster. I just got my tree up today with my family. I have been working so hard everything else has been put on the back burner. What do you do when UPS doesn't get your shipment there on time? You stay up all night making more bags and then talk your husband into delivering them to the store. Here are 4 more bags for SoBo Style. If you see this and are wanting a bag, you better get there quick because today alone she has sold 6 bags already. Wowser!!! I think she may have 10 left. I will be making more bags soon. But to tell the truth.......I'm tired today. So, I will tidy my house a bit and go to bed early and possibly make more bags tomorrow......but definitely not 4. That is too many in one day for me.

Last week we went to the beach for Thanksgiving. My parents live close by. Owen found a starfish. Honestly, it is the first time I have ever seen one on the Atlantic side and I have been going there for almost 30 years.

Anywho...we were all super excited.


















This was our first ride at Disney World. It is at the Animal Kingdom....the dinosaur ride. This ride just about ruined our whole trip. Owen was so scared that he would not ride any other rides for fear of being scared out of his wits again.


















Here we are meeting Mike Wizouski, I know I spelled that wrong but I don't want to look up the correct spelling. This is what I look like when I have been woken up at 6:30 am to wait 45 minutes for a bus....not pretty!!!


















Here we are meeting Goofy and Pluto. Owen got a Baby Pluto and wanted to share it with Big Pluto. They do not call this the best place on earth for no reason. That was a special moment for all of us.

I love Disney World!!! We will be back in about 5 years.


















This will probably be our Christmas Photo. This night was truly magical. We were in the Magic Kingdom and they had the castle all lit up with "Fairy" dust...aka lights. They had the parade in lights...truly amazing. We were standing directly under Tinkerbell when she flew down from the castle. And yes to all who wonder it is a real person. We saw her very clearly. Maybe a little later I will show you all the hats that we tried on. That was fun. That way we did not have to buy them all....but we could still see the memory in photo.

Numbers 206, and 207 are going to SoBo Style on the brown truck today as I write this actually. Along with a few others, these will feel right at home in the store. Listen up people in Columbus Oh. On Saturday there will be an add on 101.3 for SoBo Style and she is featuring my bags on the add. Rolly shnikies. I am so excited. I wish I could hear it. Imagine that, 100,000 people hearing about my bags.......I could not be more pumped!!!

Unfortunately would you believe that I have another stinkin' cold? I feel horrible. Trying to get my 80 bags done has been nearly impossible to do. I have 71 more to go. I will be glad to get 40 done. In comes the muck and out goes the will to do........anything, especially be creative and clean up the purse mess to start another one. I need a helper!!!! (Can you hear me whining?) Before you say "I will!!!" I should show you a picture of my mess........be ware!!!

Eighty shmatey!!! Those 80 bags are definately not going to get done with my attitude in the last 3 days. I had my show on Friday. It was fun. I met a lot of neat people. Thanks so much for all of your comments everyone that stopped by the booth.


I have this nasty upper respitory invasion in my chest that is really putting the kabosh on any creative thinking......or doing. Plus my husband was gone for 12 days, he just got back on Friday. I cant believe I was able to do that show come to think of it.


Tomorrow I will be gone for about 2 weeks to Florida. I am taking the kids to Disney World and to visit my parents for Thanksgiving. So if you need anything, I will not be sending it out until December 8th. Unless I can bribe my friend to send it out for me.


I have to tell you about a wonderful photographer. Her name is Kristy Beltz. She should also be an interior designer. She took this photo of me in her living room. She reupholstered that chair by herself. If you would like to have your family photographed or just children, I would highly recommend her. This may be my new internet photo, what do you think?

Oh, and I just had my hair done at Hair Studio 23 on Old 23 right at Spencer Rd. I usually go to Susan, who I highly recommend if you want a hair cut and color that you can go several months and it will still look good, however, she is on maternity leave until the new year. So, I went to Jinky (I need to make sure I have her name correct) but she was excellent!!! I had a wonderful time.

My friend Cindy came over today to help me "process" sweaters. This pile turned into 30 cut bags in 2 hours. Thanks so much my beautiful friend. I now can not bring myself to show you my kitchen........disaster zone. But new bags will be done quicker to show for it. Yea!!!

I had the cleaning lady come today. (Unfortunately, she only gets called when desperate times call for desperate measures) I wanted to put her picture on here because she is truly wonderful, but she said "NO!!!!". So I will just have to put her work on here. It would be better if I had a before too but.........my beautiful picture today is my clean kitchen. With an Apple Pie (that my husband made) and a bag that is 80% complete.....what more could I ask for?The most beautiful part is the clean floors. It makes my day when my floors are cleaned.

Artsy Crafty Babe is doing a challenge to find random beautiful things in your ordinary life. I think I will join her. These toes are a random beautiful thing to me. I love it when Owen is intently playing on his knees and his toes are crossed like this. I have never captured it in a photo before. My two rock stars. We went to an antique mall to find buttons and they had about thirty of these sunglasses from the 70's. The chains go behind your ears and attached are these circles that make them look like they are earrings......very funny.

Owen turned 5 on October 28th. His cousins came in for the weekend and we took them to RideMakerz. Oh my goodness, what fun. My boys love this place.
