My new Baby!!!

Here she is......my new Janome sewing machine. I think I am going to love it. However, I have a lesson tomorrow to make sure it can do the stretch zig zag stitch.

My newest love. 70's mugs. I love to get these at the thrift stores. The owl one is what started it and my fascination with owls........do you like the penguins and roadrunner?

Love the mugs. I just want to know -- what's a koala doing up in a tree with 3 owls, a squirrel and a raccoon?!? "One of these things is not like the other one, one of these things just don't belong..." : )

And oh, what a beauty the Janome is. I'm so glad I have a working sewing machine but there was a part of me that hoped something had irreparibly broken when my youngest pulled it off the table a while back...

Congrats on the new machine Cindy!
The mugs are strangely cool. :)

Happy Sewing! Does that thing sew through the leather belts?

Congratulation on you new machine. it is a beauty. You will be able to stitch some great bags with it.

FYI : I love my bag :) I haven't used it but I will soon

Scrumpy,

No this will not do my belts. That is what my Mercury M280L is for. This one will make all the pretty stitches on the fronts of my bags.

I had a lesson and ooohh la la I am going to LOVE this machine. I loved my Kenmore which was made by Janome so I thought I would get a Janome with their name on it and it would be better. If I can get 10 years out of this machine like my Kenmore, I will be excited.

Karin,

I know that mug is crazy but I love love love it!!! Makes no sense what so ever!!

I have to tell you that I do get more excited over a sewing machine than I would a piece of jewelry. I am super excited about the possiblities of this machine.
