Hi Cindy-- i think your owls and flowers are so so cute! but since you asked about other ideas, here's what came to mind: ...maybe just a few circles of different sizes, possibly even overlapping, or you could "reverse applique" them. I don't know if that's the right term, do you know what I'm talking about? You'd put a scrap of another fabric on the WRONG side of your outer piece and sew a shape, say a circle, then you'd cut the outer fabric away to reveal the scrap underneath. since you're using felted sweaters, hopefully they wouldn't fray too much. what else... ... all I can think of tonight is circles... so that's all for now. : ) Karin (karee's cousin!)
Did you see this one http://www.cindygert.com/2008/02/i-had-really-successful-party-on-friday.html in February that I did? Do you mean like that. I am going to play around with some circles. I think that is a great idea.
